About

Our knowledge about the country we live in, visit or plan to live in is scattered around the world in books, journals, databases, websites, encyclopedias, and in the minds of people. Now, imagine if this information is gathered, presented and made readily available to everyone – anywhere – at a moment’s notice. This dream is becoming a reality through Explore Africa's Project.

We’re building a global community dedicated to exploring and opening the underserved local African knowledge through the collaborative support of country citizens working together to keep the African knowledge alive, summarized and accessible. We also believe this collection of vast Information on an open platform about African countries should be created by same country citizens who know it best.

When complete, Explore Africa will provide a free access to trusted, and comprehensive information about every country in Africa.

Africa is not a Country

The continent is made up of over one billion people living in 54 nations and alot to offer with wide variation in economic and government systems with further differentiation in language, religion, and shared history.

Additional Explores are being incubated, for launch in 2016 with the help and supports of youths, in Ghana and Kenya. We try to build stuff that matters and changes the way people live, work , think, travel, solve problems and make informed decisions. This means keeping things as practical, as useful, and as relevant as possible. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to understand local requirements, provide solutions, and advocate for our strategies.
